Das Buddhistische Haus would like to invite you to awaken your interest in meditation!
Casually, naturally, with individual guidance, daily!


Be free of ideas and "meditation techniques",
learn to see yourself as part of nature and look over the shoulder of your "I".

Spontaneity is the essence of nature, be spontaneous, visit us!

Resident retreats

Warmly welcomes anyone who wishes to meditate (following the Theravâda Buddhist teaching)
and reside over the weekend or for up to 7 days in "Das Buddhistische Haus".
This invitation is subject to the availability of places.

 
We accept Group Bookings. We kindly request the persons representing such Groups to inform the Buddhist House at least one week before the date of commencement of residence, so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

We wish to draw your kind attention to the following rules:
  • Disturbance of the daily program should be avoided.
  • Preparations for accommodation of the meditators are made by the management of the Buddhist House. These arrangements may not be changed without permission from the management.
  • Essential phone calls are allowed subject to payment of the costs of calls.
  • To defray our costs we kindly recommend that a sum of 35,- Euro per person per day be given as a donation to the Society. An advance payment of 50% of the full sum to be donated should be given at the time of reservation..
  • All donations should be given in the office of Das Buddhistische Haus.
  • Receipts should be collected for all payments made.
  • The meditation programme will be announced at the time of booking. The daily programme usually ends around 10:00 pm

Quite casually, quite naturally, with individual counseling, daily!

Since you are in this moment here, shows that you already have thought of meditation ...
It is good to remember, but still no real experience...

Practice begins with the first step!

Das Buddhistische Haus is a place where you may feel free,
freeandeasy to go your first steps towards meditation.

Quite relaxed you can inform yourself in the house and you will experience that meditation is a part of you
and that, as soon as you do NOTHING.

You will learn how to see and steer your body and mind -
and if you learn to appreciate the blessing of meditation,
you will enjoy it thrilled!

The meditation hall / temple is open daily from 09:00 to 18:00 o'clock
